'Winter' by Lottie Wiltshire, illustration by Sue Rundle-Hughes
I was commissioned to paint this for a client whose daughter had won a poetry competition and she wished me to illustrate it for her.
'The Way Through the Woods' by Rudyard Kipling.
Another I did for Some poems for Woodlands. Here's an excerpt:
They shut the road through the woods
Seventy years ago.
Weather and rain have undone it again,
And now you would never know
There was once a road through the woods
Before they planted the trees.
